Jeannie Kim is an editor, writer, and author in New York City. She has contributed to print and digital publications including Good Housekeeping, REDBOOK, Shape, Modern Bride, Marie Claire, Girls’ Life, and Match.com, and has worked as an editor for clients such as Women’s Health, POZ, and American Express Custom Publishing. Her editorial specialties include health, psychology, parenting, sex & relationships, cultural trends, personal essay, and teen issues. She also works as a consulting editor on book projects and is the author of several books for teens and tweens.


Jeannie is currently Executive Deputy Editor at Health. She was formerly a Deputy Editor at REDBOOK and a founding editor of Twist magazine. She has spoken about writing, editing, and freelancing at NYU School of Journalism and Pace University, as well as for Mediabistro and the Asian American Journalists Association. She is a graduate of Harvard University and the Radcliffe Publishing Course.
