Jeannie Kim is an award-winning journalist and experienced content strategist. She is currently Vice President & General Manager of Content at Policygenius. Previously she served as Vice President of Content at The Muse, where she oversaw strategy and operations for all content, including editorial, branded content, and video; co-founder and Chief Content Officer of Samada, a content portal aimed at helping family caregivers navigate end-of-life issues (sold to Care.com in 2018); and Executive Editor at Health (Time Inc.), where she oversaw health and wellness content for both Health magazine and Health.com, as well as special projects and brand extensions for Health and TIME Health, a health content initiative from the editors of TIME. Her work has been recognized by the Newswomen’s Club of New York, the Skin Cancer Foundation, and many other organizations.
Jeannie was formerly a Deputy Editor at Redbook and a founding editor of Twist magazine. She is also the author of several books for teens and tweens. She has spoken about writing, editing, and the media industry at NYU School of Journalism and Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, as well as for Mediabistro and the Asian American Journalists Association. She has been quoted as an expert by WNBC, AP, Good Housekeeping, and many other outlets.
Jeannie currently advises early-stage startups as part of the AlleyCorp Braintrust. She is a graduate of Harvard University and the Radcliffe Publishing Course.
